IFIRE has decided to extend the April 28, 2006, protest at Senator Lugar’s and Bayh’s offices through April 29, 2006. It is our hope that those who cannot take time off from work on Friday, April 28th will be able to participate on Saturday, April 29th. PLEASE JOIN US!

(West side of Circle)

When: Friday,April 28, 2006 and Saturday, April 29, 2006
11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
(Those who would like to show earlier or stay later are free to do so!)

Why: To demand the Senators:
Vote AGAINST Amnesty/Guest Worker Programs
Secure our borders
Stop the Invasion

Those who plan to attend are asked to bring a brick with a message written on, or attached to, it urging the Senators to secure our borders and vote NO on any amnesty/guest-worker programs. As always, the Minuteman HQ’s standard operating procedures will be used during this demonstration. Please read these common-sense rules at your earliest convenience at http://www.minutemanhq.com/hq/sop.php .

Please bring appropriate signage, American flags and your brick(s). We hope to leave the bricks with the Senators’ staffers.

It is time for us to make ourselves heard!! Please make it a priority to attend and encourage family and friends to join you. Everyone is welcome. Take the day off, or just a couple of hours, because your country needs you now.

We, Americans, and our laws, will continue to be ignored as long as we allow it. Let’s put an end to it on April 28th and 29th! Stand up and tell your Senators how you feel!

Please contact me, Tish Cooper, or Teresa Keefer if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing you on Friday.
